Mysteries of Film History

Whilst perusing the internet in yet another (highly effectual) procrastination effort , I came across these pictures of some mysterious (I'm guessing) German actress named Ruth Marcus. I know nothing about her, even the approximate time these pictures were taken, and the website offered no information. Now I am interested in finding out more, and also in finding cowboy-stripper-flamenco outfit of my very own. I want it to be red.
